This clearly shows that the bourgeoisie is unable to remain longer than the ruling class of society and to impose on the whole society the conditions for the existence of its class as a regulating law. She is unable to dominate, because she is unable to provide her slave with even a slavish level of existence, because she is forced to let him down to a position where she herself must feed him, instead of being fed at his expense
