Just go second-hand. You can find some pretty good deals. I got 90% of my system used and it chugs along perfectly
I wanna build my own pc... With new parts
So it feels me
my pc is good except my graphics card
and ram
While we're on the subject of computers and that..... anyone else have problems, when dealing with removing a large number of files and folders, say like if you're uninstalling a mod, where your computer will not register some of those files and folders as deleted and lock out your access to them? Not always as failing to register it as deleted, but as it really still being there but with your account barred from doing anything with it. Preventing you from reinstalling that mod or any mod that uses the same folders.
What's the graphics card?
emma i have the same problem sometimes
I have tried programs that let you reclaim access to files and folders and that works some of the time. But usually the only solution is to enter safe mode and manually delete the locked out folders and files.
Could just be a corrupted file during the delte process
delete
That sucks
Never had this issue in Windows 7. If a file failed to register as deleted and you seemed to be locked out, it'd always clear up on a restart, and even then it was exceptionally rare.
that's because Windows 7 was good
Now in Windows 10, it's far more likely and it usually does not go away with a restart.
I know. 😦
Have you thought about just doing a fresh install?
AMD Radeon (TM) R9 360
No it's a brand new computer and it happens too often for that to be worth it.
It's nothing wrong with the install.
R9 360 is still a pretty decent little budget card
It's a flaw in Windwos 10 itself.
I have not used safe mode this much in over 15 years.
really?
how much does it cost new?
I've used it more in the last three months than I had in the entire rest of my life before then.
Hmm, that's true. Windows 10 really is just a shit in of itself
Before I got this PC, I'd used safe mode maybe twice ever in my whole life.
I've used it at least 14 times on this PC/
15. Forgot I just used it just now.
Can't really buy an R9 360. It's an OEM card. Not for sale.
Skyrim was bugging out on me and was crashing on loading saves so I decided to do a clean install.
And.... as you'd expect a lot of files and folders in the Skyrim SE directory were glitched like I described.
well, that's just Skyrim. Plus Skyrim SE is just as poorly coded of a mess as the OG.
Well that only explains the crashing.
