Really, just make noise. Talk about things, give kudos (in general), and just be amiable (friendly).

I don't really have a following on a serious note. I use Twitter for a lot of venting.

Well, probably just need to keep posting. XD People can find new tweets on the front of Twitter, and when what you say somehow gets worked through the website's algorithims, they end up finding your tweets. I noticed that after posting too many tweets myself, at some point, a button appeared on them where I can see how many "impressions" (views?) my tweets were getting.
