to be fair one idea that should be enforced is that you can't be a multiculturalist
but that leaves in an infinite possibility of other political systems to embrace
What is a "nation"?
Historically, it would be a group of people occupying an area that share things (but it not limited or exclusive to) like a common ancestry, a common language, a common culture, a common history, etc.
Nowadays, nationhood doesn't mean anything
It doesn't mean anything to be an American, for example
So if I were to answer your question honestly, it's nothing. Nationalism and patriotism are often viewed as intertwined with an ideology, and doing so was a fucking mistake. @J The Critic
I would even argue that Sweden's "humanitarian superpower" bullshit is a perverted manifestation of this form of nationalism
That a nation is about a specific ideology
which is a horseshit approach
huh
they still taught nation as an ethnic group when I was a kid
government != nation
The Kurdish nation for instance exists
regadless of any governmental body
the Basque nation exists
Make a wish kids are spoiled
yes im sure all those kids with fatal illnesses are blessed with only the good things in life
Short of magic and a collective attack of autism by the people on this server it’s still not made clear to me why old mate listening to Bollywood and praying to Vishnu is somehow destroying the countries that allow this to happen
And I’m not really sold as to why you think oldmate can’t have his nice lil corner store and be an asset to his community just because you, some random, take exception to it
@CronoSaturn Vishnu is a demon
