Because the student loans destroyed my credit because of some fradulant practices on their end.

I don't want to pay the TV tax here so I don't have my TV cable attached.

The other debt, and being good with it, helps rebuild my credit.

The student loan place was fradulantly filing my payment a day after the due date, diligently, like clockwork, no matter when I sent it in, ( was doing it by mail then), so consstently they had to be doing it on purpose.

It ruined my credit and I couldn't prove it was their fault.

It takes seven years for deliquencies to expire on your credit report.

It stopped when I switched to automatic payments.

When I got a new passport at the consulate with my new name after I got married, they sent me a form to change my social security info, but they didn't include an envelope or address to send it to so I just never sent it.

Yeah, but it's been so long, I'd rather just wait for when I have to go to the states (like when my mom dies) to go to the offices in person.

Right now, absolutely everyone coming into the country is getting harrassed by immigration officials.

Most of whom, are people who are not immigrants.

Tourists, people on business visits, citizens returning from trips or other extended stays outside the country.

I'm sure part of it is just immigration officials being dicks because they hate their job and now they have a "good" excuse to be dicks to people.
