Would just like to point out: Chaney has a 4% encounter rate in a very specific part of the safari zone with a low-ass catch rate, and a 5% chance to hold a lucky egg. (The only way to get one in Gen 3 btw) So needless to say, after only four captures, I’m feeling really lucky.

So, I ordered Infinite Warfare and Advanced Warfare off of Amazon. I found some cheaper ones with a PEGI 18 sticker, and I though "what the hell, shouldn't affect it that much."

So as far as my gen 3 adventure is going, I am determined to grind my main team for Emerald to level 100, and may be looking into exploiting the Glitzer-popping glitch on my empty Ruby and Sapphire games in order to obtain the mythical/starter Pokémon I normally wouldn’t be able to.

UPDATE: SUPER pissed Rn. So I grounded my original team for emerald all up to level 100 in fire red, and then Fire red decides to run down its battery as I’m trading back these Pokémon. Now I’ve lost 5/6 OG team members and HOURS of grinding.

So I've been working (on my sick days off from work/school) on a completely autistic and borderline-retarded project in Pokemon Sapphire, and that's leveling up my starter to level 100, BEFORE the first gym. I currently had my sceptile (affectionately named Godslayer all the way up to level 47, meaning I'm almost halfway there. I say almost halfway because I'm not relying on exp. for this challenge, but rather the broken way in which pickup worked in the first two gen three games, where Zigzagoon has a 10% out of 10% chance to find a rare candy after every completed battle by my Sceptile. Meaning that by this point, I've roughly gathered 30 rare candies via this method and require a measly 53 more through full-odds candy drops. If I actually manage to complete this challenge in a semi-reasonable time frame (less than a year) I'll be sure to post the final results here.
