@everyone Gonna pull a Beardson here: would you all be interested in me streaming Shenmue I and II when it comes out on Steam in a few days, and if so, would you be interested in kicking in a few bucks for me to buy it (it's currently on sale for $26.99)? My concerns are two:
1. The minimum requirements for it are higher than Deus Ex: Human Revolution, which my computer is incapable of streaming without massive framerate issues. That said, going by the screenshots/videos, the game doesn't look any different than the Dreamcast/Xbox versions, so how graphically demanding could the game be? The textures look the same and the characters and objects are still blocky as hell.
2. The game might require a controller to play (it has keyboard/mouse capability, but I wonder about doing the fighting sequences without a controller), which is out of the question: I went to Media Markt and they didn't have Steam Controllers. Nobody in this city does. I could buy an Xbox One controller, but they cost around $65 here (wtf?).
How much do you think it would cost to ship a Steam controller from some place like the UK or Germany to Hungary?
@fokkertism I don't think I can do that. The Steam Controllers come from the U.S., so I'd have to pay VAT, tariffs, and shipping, on top of waiting for some ungodly period.
Then an Xbox or PS4 controller sounds like the way to go if you need one. Both of which are similar in price unfortunately.
I think the price on those things is absurd. IIRC, controllers cost maybe $25-30 back in the PS2/Xbox/GameCube days.
Yeah, yeah, yeah, inflation, but there's no special functionality that these new controllers have over ones for consoles that were around 10-20 years ago.

@everyone Thanks to a generous donation from @ec89, I'll be buying Shenmue I and II and streaming it on Tuesday (when the game is officially released). Hopefully the game can be played with a keyboard/mouse. Also hoping the game CAN be streamed on my computer; despite the system requirements, I don't see it having any issues due to the graphics looking barely any different than the original. "HD remaster" my ass.
