well, it was a horse show

i got first place

we dont get trophies in horse shows

the show i went to was a combined test

a dressage portion (flatwork, no jumping, a judge basically scores you on this 'test' you do)

and a showjump portion, where you get judged on..well...jumping

yeah

but i wasnt even supposed to go to the show yesterday

i have a headache that gets worse when i lay down, and meds wont help for some reason

they didnt give out ribbons until after everyone from every level finished jumping, and i didnt want to be late to work

no, they had ribbon ceremonies

but i was running late, so i left

my trainer got it for me

there was another little girl who rides my horse who was competing yesterday as well, at a lower level, so my trainer had to stay there anyway
