2019-07-30 02:29:21 UTC

Thats what my starling would like to do for hours on end

2019-07-30 02:29:34 UTC

As well as pick at my hair and shove his beak in my toes

2019-07-30 02:29:43 UTC

idk what to do Ive tried just grabbing her beak or sitting her on the floor

2019-07-30 02:30:02 UTC

oof

2019-07-30 02:30:05 UTC

Bitey birds are a pain

2019-07-30 02:30:13 UTC

She used to dangle from my ears

2019-07-30 02:30:28 UTC

I think she has separation anxiety

2019-07-30 02:30:33 UTC

I think what is usually recommended for bitey ones is not letting them on the shoulder if they are bitey

2019-07-30 02:30:39 UTC

Do you have a portable perch or play gym?

2019-07-30 02:31:27 UTC

Yes both

2019-07-30 02:31:42 UTC

The problem is she absolutely insists on being on my shoulder

2019-07-30 02:31:43 UTC

Can you get her to stay on it or does she just immediately leave?

2019-07-30 02:31:47 UTC

Hrm

2019-07-30 02:31:57 UTC

I've sat her down over and over again for an hour at a time

2019-07-30 02:32:04 UTC

Just flies right back up onto me or follows me around chirping

2019-07-30 02:32:35 UTC

Any treats she likes?

2019-07-30 02:32:53 UTC

millet crackers and spinach

2019-07-30 02:32:57 UTC

and she leaves them all

2019-07-30 02:33:02 UTC

Hrmm

2019-07-30 02:33:07 UTC

if I leave the room she runs from room to room

2019-07-30 02:33:50 UTC

rip

2019-07-30 02:33:54 UTC

Maybe a portable cage?

2019-07-30 02:34:48 UTC

I've tried literally everything

2019-07-30 02:34:59 UTC

I'm convinced I just have the autistic child equivalent of parrots

2019-07-30 02:35:03 UTC

lol oof

2019-07-30 02:35:19 UTC

If it's that bad you might consider clipping her wings (Or getting them clipped if you are scared to)

2019-07-30 02:35:40 UTC

I dont like clipping, but we've had to do it with the conure at some time till she was better about things.

2019-07-30 02:35:43 UTC

unfortunately she flies like a motherfucker regardless

2019-07-30 02:35:48 UTC

oof

2019-07-30 02:36:14 UTC

I wake up and take her everywhere with me to the car to my friends etc

2019-07-30 02:36:24 UTC

and the second she goes back in her cage she lets hell loose

2019-07-30 02:36:51 UTC

I think she needs a boyfriend or something but I honestly think she'd just ignore a cagemate
