Yeah our dogs are mostly good
saw this adorable pitty at home depot the other day but his ears were chopped
My sister's dog has a high prey drive that makes her a pain in the ass sometimes
UwU
But so far she hasnt actually ran down an animal since she was young
makes them look so artificial
She just gets the lurch
UwU
And runs for a sec
Then stops
unshaved poodle
So
Fucking
cute
awwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww
a literal rug
I used to not like poodles until I met a few
Each one of them was cute as fuck and super well behaved
*For whatever reason I thought they all had to look foofy*
If you need to be violent with your pet
well
oftentimes it's the trainer, not the pet
My mom wanted me to get an irish wolfhound or poodle
eh well I never claimed to be a trainer I just said it prevents violent animals

Problem with that is
Your dog isn't an idiot
and it knows the pain originates from you
But it's not a genius
I Suppose so
and it probably won't make the connection that the pain is a result of his own actions
so all you're doing is teaching the dog that violence is a thing that it can do
*Worst* case scenario? You instill this lesson.
"Hitting, slapping, and biting is a fun game that my owner plays with me. Let me try playing it with him, and with others."
Other bad lessons you could teach the dog?
doesn't seem to be very common if at all
"A person’s hand or face coming toward me, is a bad thing. I should run away from people, or bite the hand or face that is a threat to me."
