It's just pain: I could deal with it, and so long as I was careful, not much she could do.

A lot of people said I should have tried to kill her or hit her

MFW that would have been so much worse.

If she had decided I was actively trying to hurt/kill her, she would have tigthened up even more

And that would have caused fucking damage, as the only thing keeping her from strangling me was my hand on the other side of my neck
