yt started as a non monetized platform...but it still had ads

Its just a broad blanket nebulas term that can apply to channels, viewers or alm,ost anything. It's so they can legally yank your access to google services

i stopped logging into yt yrs ago

prefer to comment on a vid on a platform they can't track nor censor

having used an offline email client since been online ....u get used to a platform and just use the online server access point for spam

I use protonmail for my real email and google as my spam mail (web sites that want an email address etc)
