(also that embed looks quite swag ? is it new thing)
if others have not updated their client
At the most basic, I like it because it's a gadget, and it can be nice for little things like keeping track of BS while I'm playing games or something easy. If saving/recalling is on an affordable model, could possibly be useful, and I still like gadgets.
@timsandtoms this is the alternative to the Sony
https://remarkable.com/
but like
again
it's about $600
sorry
$500
but basically it's just a drawing tablet with a paper on top
was just about link ^ that too
That's weird.
its one of those midlegrounds what actualy can be good
How many steps are we going to take before we get another apple Newton or whatever it was called
ereader notepads are expensive
like very
then there is just bamboo-paper app to any tablet whatever
Ereaders were pretty spendy at first too.
Less niche though I guess.
It's insane.

With how so many brands make their advertising weird and how many variations of tablets to right on there are I'm never 100% on what I'm looking at, haha. That Wacom Bamboo Folio, is that e-ink with an "Export to phone" button basically?
What's even more insane is Amazon didn't lock it down making piracy impossible on the thing either. Just the ebooks they sell
its like trying to find RGB pilot/panelmount indicator lights these days
impossible to do unless you want to pay 60 per piece
other option is buy cheap white-hat ones and mod them with rgb led your own
@timsandtoms there's this cheaper one
https://onyxboox.com/boox_novapro
niche product but some people would use em if they had em
which will not be as smooth or lagless as the remarkable or the sony
Haha, yeah, jesus, I'm just getting a cheap one or a Boogie Board or something.
I mean lets be real, when a normal ereader costs $150 for a good one, one that comes with WACOM isn't gonna be cheap lmao
Well, only because it's too niche I think.
yeah
its very niche
Theres other cheaper drawing tablet brand for computers, so that plus whatever tech it was they use in the cheap etch-a-sketch ones, I'm just surprised there hasn't been something more between the super fancy ones, and the doesnt-even-have-an-erase-lock cheapo ones.
But ah well. I didn't really need one, I'll just get the cheapo. Just nerding out about gadgets, lol
I guess in that domain its been taken over by cheap androids
