Definitely worth checking, maybe you'll get lucky, but also maybe see if there are any kind of return policies at the thrift store if it just doesn't work.

They got their start doing "bundles" of games, where you could choose what you wanted to pay to get them, with your choice of what fraction of that money went to the developers, charity, or the website itself

It was usually one big-ticket game with a bunch of indie games to sweeten the pot

Nowadays, they do bundles of software, books, comics, etc.

This is the closest thing they have to what they used to do

But their bread and butter these days is a monthly subscription service where you pay a flat fee and get a curated bundle of games. Don't like it? Too bad, they have your money already. 😄
