Been doing some reading

2019-10-31 08:54:39 UTC

A lot of the Lib Dem potential take overs are Tory seats I think

2019-10-31 08:56:12 UTC
2019-10-31 08:58:45 UTC

Also I know Bercow gets a lot of hate and loathing here but this quote is damn good imo “If we only went by precedent, manifestly nothing would ever change."

2019-10-31 08:59:31 UTC

should it be on the speaker to set new precedent though?
or should the house make those decisions

2019-10-31 09:10:04 UTC

It should be the house

2019-10-31 09:22:16 UTC

The speaker's job is to be impartial and make sure things follow the rules. Neither has Bercow been good at.

2019-10-31 10:17:15 UTC

good, the worst thing that can happen at this point is to split the pro brexit vote and let the remain parties win the GE

2019-10-31 10:18:11 UTC

ofc, it would need to be reciprocated where BXP are more likely to be able to make ground than tories

2019-10-31 10:18:17 UTC

ie labour heartlands

2019-10-31 10:20:02 UTC

also worth noting that feelings are mixed in BXP about this strategy

2019-10-31 10:22:10 UTC

yes but bare in mind the Tories can't afford to be seen as a small party they kind of have to field reps everywhere for fear of losing "face" that said they should prioritise where they heavily advertise and try not to damage the BXP where they are more likely to succeed, i.e. Labour heartlands

2019-10-31 10:22:28 UTC

indeed

2019-10-31 10:22:54 UTC

yeah they won't be seen to be allied with BP

2019-10-31 10:22:57 UTC

ruling out a pact with BXP might actually make BXP more appealing to labour leavers

2019-10-31 10:23:18 UTC

yes exactly

2019-10-31 10:24:09 UTC

> chairman Richard Tice is receiving begging texts from Brexiteer Tory MPs calling for the Brexit Party to stand aside in their seats.

2019-10-31 10:25:05 UTC

sounds editorialised

2019-10-31 10:28:08 UTC

2019-10-31 10:52:49 UTC

Where I live is the safest labour seat possible

2019-10-31 10:52:52 UTC

Rochdale

2019-10-31 10:53:23 UTC

In previous elections only parties that had a small chance were ukip and kinda Lib Dem’s, that’s fucked now

2019-10-31 10:56:14 UTC

surely people are pssed off with labour cover ups in rochdale?

2019-10-31 10:59:55 UTC

EVERYONES blind to it

2019-10-31 11:00:15 UTC

These past local elections labour got a fucking huge majority

2019-10-31 11:01:27 UTC

Why don’t they see the shit job labour are doing, Rochdale a literal shithole labour run Councils so poorly, the only party that came close to labour in the local elections were ukip funnily enough, but there was a very big gap

2019-10-31 11:32:16 UTC

Big daddy Sargon

2019-10-31 11:47:36 UTC

of course.
Since UKIP have no leader.
Can they get their shit together in time to field candidates?

2019-10-31 11:47:50 UTC

he could run as independant

2019-10-31 11:51:34 UTC

NEC have claimed they will field candidates. But prbably only those approved by them and not the Braine supporting membership. Because they teh gay.

2019-10-31 11:53:16 UTC

since sargon is interviewing corbyns bro now... an has an in... maybe he should join labour... and transform it back to its roots

2019-10-31 11:53:16 UTC

Anyone see the interview between Andrew Neil and Jo Swinson? Jesus is she dillusional.
