Good job this isn't a democracy then, isn't it?

2019-11-10 15:09:21 UTC

And here I thought you were a democrat <:pepelaugh:544857300179877898>

2019-11-10 15:09:35 UTC

I'm a liberal first, democrat second

2019-11-10 15:24:13 UTC

Now that is a take and a half

2019-11-10 15:24:22 UTC

"Lets overturn an election that had 70% turnout over the entire country because of the results of a poll with less then that"

2019-11-10 15:24:39 UTC

"Lets continue with a disasterious policy which people don't want"

2019-11-10 15:24:55 UTC

"Lets ignore the 2017 general election where remain parties gained a majority of seats"

2019-11-10 15:25:10 UTC

lol only if you count Labour as remain

2019-11-10 15:25:15 UTC

Which is debateable as hell

2019-11-10 15:25:29 UTC

I mean, staying in the EU customs union requires all the other EU institutions

2019-11-10 15:25:37 UTC

The EU themselves have said that.

2019-11-10 15:25:47 UTC

"Lets continue with a disastrous policy **which people don't want**"
How do you know that?
Did't both Labour and Conservatives say that they would honour the results of the referendum?

2019-11-10 15:25:50 UTC

but you know

2019-11-10 15:26:10 UTC

tbh any brexit that doesnt involve resurrecting bomber harris and firebombing Dresden and Brussels isnt proper brexit

2019-11-10 15:26:22 UTC

"How do you know that?"
By looking at the massive amount of polls which say people don't want that and the result of 2017. @Hiddenhope

2019-11-10 15:26:32 UTC

Just keep shifting the goal posts to fit your argument

2019-11-10 15:26:38 UTC

What? ...

2019-11-10 15:26:45 UTC

"Oh no! Polls!"

2019-11-10 15:26:49 UTC

"How do you know that?"
I just explained how <:pot_of_kek:544849795433496586>

2019-11-10 15:27:04 UTC

My argument has first being the polls, then I supported it using the 2017 election..

2019-11-10 15:28:12 UTC

Looking up how many valid votes

2019-11-10 15:28:29 UTC

There were 33,551,983 valid votes

2019-11-10 15:28:57 UTC

do all the people who participate in your precious polls equal that number?

2019-11-10 15:29:30 UTC

You really just asked that? ...

2019-11-10 15:29:34 UTC

and how do you know there were was no overlap between polls?

2019-11-10 15:29:37 UTC

You don't understand what or how polls are ran do you?

2019-11-10 15:29:45 UTC

Well lets see how the next election goes

2019-11-10 15:29:51 UTC

referendum > polls

2019-11-10 15:30:01 UTC

Elections > Referendums

2019-11-10 15:30:23 UTC

‭16,466,854‬ voted for remain parties in 2017, 13,636,684 voted for leave ones.

2019-11-10 15:30:33 UTC

🤷 You don't have the numbers.

2019-11-10 15:30:43 UTC

Both Labour and Conservatives said that they would honour the result
How can that be twisted to meaning remain?

2019-11-10 15:31:00 UTC

Labour said they will remain in the customs union <:pot_of_kek:544849795433496586>

2019-11-10 15:31:14 UTC

To do that, you need to keep the other EU institutions

2019-11-10 15:31:20 UTC

This was discussed YEARS ago

2019-11-10 15:31:23 UTC

YEARS.

2019-11-10 15:31:26 UTC

No use doing anything based on the 2017 election

2019-11-10 15:31:44 UTC

Well that was the latest results we can use

2019-11-10 15:32:03 UTC

I suppose you could use the European elections

2019-11-10 15:32:09 UTC

But even there, remain got a majority of votes.

2019-11-10 15:32:12 UTC

You know, there is one thing about elections.
You know about safe seats? And wasted votes?
In elections. Votes in swing seats matter more then ones in save seats.
But in the referendum a vote in the north of england matters just as much as a banker in london
