You may have 20 nuclear CVs, but if you lag behind technologically and the enemy can blow them up within first month of the conflict, they're not of much use.

If you have a war between nuclear states, that's been going on for a month, and the nukes haven't been detonated on enemy soil, then the nukes deserved to be taken off by enemy air attacks.
I think there are better ways to keep private military companies afloat than to give money to Israel...
I really cannot imagine a scenario where some foreign power went to destroy nuclear launch sites on USA, and USA didn't nuke the country destroying the launch sites.
Some Israelis were complaining that the money prevents them from developing their own industry.
Which is true.
A lot of anti-rocket tech was live tested in Israel quite thoroughly. Tech that the US has, because Isreal wasn't able to do their own thing.
Don't get me wrong, the counterarguments certainly have their merit too.
I'm just arguing the side that I felt was not represented well.
