I hope Watiti does something competent with Mighty Thor
I honestly don't mind the idea of Jane taking up the hammer, as plenty of people have done it before
The problem was they tried to write it as if she was straight up replacing Thor, which is not something you do
they also deepthroated you with feminist preaching that took away any kind of interesting tension
her dialogue in the comics was awful
But I have faith in Taika Watiti. He seems to understand the ethos of Thor as a good leader and a hero, but with a sense of "my life is weird, try to crack a smile"
Thor's "that's what heroes do" line in Ragnarok kinda sold that for me
and natalie portman has talent, she was just hit with some shit scripting
Honestly I see Thor Ragnarok as proof that you can change a source material for a movie and still have tons of people enjoy it
