Tomorrow
yay, its the day
so i have spoken to close to 40 of my neighbours, friends and family in canada about today, and while i haev avoided bias i believe i have been asked by quite a few of them who i am voting for and the ones that were upset with my non answer and pushed got my answer
but of those near 40 people it seems like we ar voting overwelmingly PPC
Which province?
only one is voting liberals and two progressive conservatives
alberta
Interesting and good to hear
with a few in BC, sask, ontario nova scotia and newfoundland
the one on BC has also been in contact with the organisers of the PPC in their town of prince george and from waht i have heard and with how he is informing -people how the PPC is our prefered choice, i expect max has a chance
this gentleman has been retweeting and reposting to his discords not safe for work catch-all channel all of the canadain polatics stuff and his discord is a gentleman's gaming alliance full of international peopel but not an insignificant canadian presence
so i am glad that i am nto the only one informign and educating my fellow canadians abotu thsi election
i dont knwo what number of peopel he has talked to
i am hoping scrump and short fat otaku are well enough to stream the eelctions tonight with their flavor of commentary, i also hope that sargon, count dankula, arch, vee, uzalu, discordia and undoomed can chime in with thie thoughts as the votes come in
i doubt however mr obvious or louis would show up
to such a commentary
Just went out to vote. Was disappointed, no place to write myself in, just 4 boxes to tick
Oh yeah PPC isn't a listed option either
What?

Welcome to Canada
I had 7 parties on the ballot
Were you two live?
Lakeland for me
That's in Alberta?
yeah
Alberta is trying to leave right?
there's some support for separatism here
idk if it's a significant enough portion of the population to have much effect beyond headlines though
What was that about? Regulations was it?
I mean why people want to leave
equalization and regulations keeping pipelines from being built
a lot of people feel as though Ontario and Quebec are overrepresented in the current political system, and Alberta's getting forgotten about despite oil and gas being a significant industry in this country
mostly the pipelines though
Sounds about right
Oil, Gas and dinos
Ontario and Quebec hold the majority of seats.
All other provinces combined don't even make a majority.
alberta should leave. there's no reason they should continue being an economic vassal to ontario without any say in governance.
manitoba and saskatchewan may as well leave too.
