I think mine are d10
my most feared outcome in this election is Scheer leading the country for the next 4 years, as it'll pretty much just be the same destructive policies as the past 4 years, but under a Conservative government that'll push everyone right back to the Liberals, especially with the left consolidating to get rid of a Conservative government like they did with Trudeau to get rid of Harper, and like the Cons are trying to get the right to do with Scheer to get rid of Harper
the way I see it, voting NDP, Green, or Liberal is a vote for 4 more years of leftist policies, a vote for Scheer is a vote for 8 more years of leftism, just slightly less radical for the first 4
unfortunately, my most feared outcome seems to be the exact direction we're headed
second referendums are great, when the public votes wrong, all you have to do is a shitty job at carrying out the people's will before giving them an option to back out
if they vote right, don't let them vote again
well of course don't let them truly have a say, just pretend to let them vote so they don't revolt
the greater the institution, the less influence you have on it, these institutions control our lives, the bigger they are, the less control you have over your life
China's gonna crumble
no seriously, China's losing control of their own people
not working well here in Canada
and your point is?
wow, not gonna talk about it too much in this channel, but didn't realize Canada was that high, nor should it be rated that high given the actual reality of the situation this country is facing, though I guess there's plenty of corrupt governments in the world
also the UK is rated higher
who polices the police?
just like Trudeau, found in violation of ethics laws, and he got to decide his own penalty
he decided on no penalty
great way to fix corruption
you know, it's easier to convince a group of people to conduct morally ambiguous or reprehensible behaviour than it is to convince an individual
consolidation of power through "cracking down on corruption" isn't really all that altruistic, more a sign of a power-hungry dictator
so we become tyranny to destroy tyranny? sounds like a plan
what could go wrong?
idc if China rules the world, its the tyranny that bothers me, meaning becoming tyrannical ourselves isn't a solution
how will the EU help if it allows a single nation to veto any attempt to curtail China's influence on the nations in the union?
the countries can nationalize it themselves without the union
strikes back in what way?
we have military pacts
so we destroy ourselves instead?
sure, makes sense
I'm hoping that's what happens, seems like best chance to see a PPC government
I had 7 parties on the ballot
Lakeland for me
yeah
there's some support for separatism here
idk if it's a significant enough portion of the population to have much effect beyond headlines though
equalization and regulations keeping pipelines from being built
a lot of people feel as though Ontario and Quebec are overrepresented in the current political system, and Alberta's getting forgotten about despite oil and gas being a significant industry in this country
mostly the pipelines though
should've probably explained that somewhere then
I got no indication as to what to do
I made a big dot
I looked, couldn't find it
there's 2 candidates named Maxime Bernier
other max is Rhinocรฉros Party
abolishing fptp?
Liberal minority likely propped up by Bloc, I'm betting the Albertan separatism movement's gonna see some growth
I'd personally rather Alberta not join the US, but I'd prefer it over Trudeau, or any of the other major parties up here
I had to provide proof of residence
Greece
Romania
idk European geography all that well
15 minutes per pizza, about 5 pizzas per oven, 6 ovens, that's 120 pizzas an hour, 2880 per day, about 1 million a year
1,051,200
gotta clean chimneys too
my head's already on the chopping block, I don't care anymore
yeah, pretty much
might be a few petitions
