I think Somalians disagree.
Hence it's subjective.
then why do they all want to come here
Maybe they come to spread their superior life style?
I don't think somalians disagree
I do not think somalians are happy, or prosperous
Even in their ignorance
You don't have to be happy and prosperous to think you live proper lives according to God.
again there are some people (in somalia) that believe US (western) is better some who think western is worse
I think something is very rotten in the hearts of somalians, which is why theyhave a deep propensity towards violent nihilism
West is decadent land of shaytan.
you are treating people as monoliths
Some Mudslime might argue for examel.
Most Muslims prefer Saudi Arabia over USA.
How is USA **objectively** better than Saudi Arabia?
larger
Objectively includes also Islamic perspective.
you are robbing people of their agency.
the right way of living ones "life" is different for each person
Is larger objectively better?
Judeo-Christian teachings try to set people on a path of prosperity and inner happiness, divorced from physical materialism and with a strong moral compass (read: anti-nihilism). Which is why the Petersonian idea of reality works in Judeo-Christian cultures.
That which 'is real' *must* 'benefit you'
To reduce it
Greater country by mass
@Hexidecimark Well, I asked "How is USA objectively better than Saudi Arabia?", not about largeness.
So don't derail.
@D3bug_logic people have the agency to live their lives wrong though. Being wrong doesn't mean you can't do it, or it shouldn't.
Your question was stupid, ask a better one for a better answer
but it might benefit them to live their life wrong
"wrong"
I don't see how
If it does, then our definition of 'wrong' is wrong
how are you basing your measure? pleasure? meaning? security?
Prosperity and inner happiness
Essentially
Which, yes, are vague
Hence the problem
This is why I prefer the Aristotelian conception of ethics and 'how one ought to live'
exactly you are getting to the point these hard truths cannot be black and white right from wrong
No, I believe they can, but as Aristotle would say, any real science can only be as accurate as the real world allows.
some things might work in the short term, but fail in the long term
