"Well things were complete shit compared to now, but do you know what people had in abundance? Things that come with being a 3rd world country!" <:BIGBRAIN:501101491428392991>
it's going down boys
@ETBrooD No shit, but you're missing the point
It is more of a critique on the breakdown of society and the harmful effects of seeing people as commodity in the mindless pursuit of profit
I don't see it
Society isn't breaking down, it's rising up
>Some problems still exist and life is not perfect
>Ohhhh this means things used to be better
No
Depends on several factors
You're taking one factor and claiming it justifies the breakdown in other areas
Yeah it does
I like the breakdown of wars and violent crimes for example in exchange for the mindless pursuit of profit
It's a good trade
Whereas I'm saying both can ve avoided
No it can't
It is a false dichotomy that you're presenting
I'm not using it as a dichotomy
Breakdown of wars and violent crimes need not come at the cost of mindless pursuit of profit
"cost"
You call it a cost, I call it a blessing
Not really, just different values
You think it's bad when people pursue endless profit, I think it's good
Call it whatever, but one can be achieved without the other
Not really no
I can write an essay on the negative effects of asphalt culture which you call a blessing
The growth mindset can only survive in a world that isn't filled with war and other extinction events
In fact it is one of the major problems plaguing the world currently
I don't call that a blessing?
But it's quite late here so some other time
Ah yes, Verizon putting HuffPo up for sale
Left-wing media is dying, and dying fast
The absolute state of Nordcucks
@Monstrous Moonshine That bit you just posted doesnt make a lot of sense:
1. They only had sex so often because they had more free time and nothing else to do.
2. They lived in larger houses because there was less urbanization overall, and both sub-urbs and rural areas are still viable options today.
3. Literally nothing preventing you from eating "natural" food today except a modest increase in price.
4. This is just blatantly false, they were generally a lot less active in their social lives because they lived in rural areas with inferior methods of transportation
5. This is true.
6. Also true.
7. True again.
8. I dont understand the relevance of this.
The only thing that can really come close to "forcing" you to act like a "commodity" is the requirement of many jobs to do an 8 hour work-day and not offer part-time, as well as not offering many unpaid vacation days
Everything else is perfectly within individual choice and viable options to choose from
People always talk about the Jewish question, the real question is white liberals who have too much money on their hands
Hopefully we can manage some type of final solution for those guys, they really need the help
