if a dm advertises a game as serious
then having a funny monster is kind of ruining the setting
the dm should be consistent with the rules they apply to their own setting after all

I have a fairly serious campaign going on atm
but ooc its a bunch of nonsense which is great
for example
it knows charge and quick-recovery, and that's it
party was in the woods, got ambushed by a bunch of cougars, but the cougars had names like "Cougar Milf" "barely legal kitten" etc
and the dm was just cheesing it as i nearly got dragged away to my death by a barely legal kitten.
