He literally walked in the dorm and hit the table leg

i dunno, avoiding the table leg would have been better.
We spent like 5 hours waiting for an X-ray in the hospital and he ran his foot into a wall while fooling around with a wheelchair
This is why in the X-ray the bone is not 90° any more, but moved further away and awfully swollen
oh god
They bolted his bones with metal spikes (aka elizarov device) that protruded outside so they would grow together correctly
And he had to wear this thing for 3 months

Grew back together without consequences
He even played in minor basketball league in Germany
