And the world is not linear and constant
The task has to be basic enough
Hmm
Only true AI can sort those bugs out itself
Human evolution is slow. It can’t be any faster than the time it takes a newborn to grow to adulthood.
A true AI would only be limited by its processing power. It would evolve beyond our comprehension extremely rapidly.
Unless it ran out of fuel
Regardless I don't think it's going to be possible to have a government that truly can't be overthrown
It would be less limited less by its processing power then normal too
AI would probably be most limited by data to learn from
A government tells people what to do. So it's intrinsic there is faults there
More data, more processing power, more energy
Because it could write a compression system to store itself more efficiently and remove unneeded space
Nope
We haven't written enough compression systems to get it to go that crazy quite yet
There are cameras and microphones everywhere.
There are weather monitoring systems everywhere.
And that’s not even mentioning the sheer amount of information humanity is uploading all the time.
The idea is that the AI would write one
And in most cases it can only improve to the level of the data it has
Problem is scale_e all of it would have massive input lag
Scale that's not enough data
I wouldnt write one
Unless the infra is built for the AI
yes, build stuff for me!
We’re doing that right now
Not from what I know
Everything collapses with time
CCTV isn't all centralised going to a point or series of points
Everything corrupts and renews
The NSA gets everything eventually but not smoothly
In fact, if I was a super intelligent AI.
...I’d probably be encouraging humanity to do *exactly what it’s doing right now...*
That's it brother
Even if CCTV was being centralized no modern AI would be capable of processing it usefully, and it'd still be paltry for the majority of more complicated tasks
Apparently Tim Pool is voting Tulsi - what the fuck is so based about Tulsi? I don't fucking see it. https://www.tulsi2020.com/record
Its too much data even for AI
It's not enough data
Well
So for now the AI is simply prodding us to upgrade infrastructure.
Improvements require combinatorially more information over time
An AI could
