indicator lights are yellow

brake lights are red

and hazards are the same colour as the indicators because they use the same bulbs

a hazard is just when both indicators blink simultaneously

i guess i should say tho indicator lights are both yellow *and* red

the lights on the rear of the car are always red

but their counterparts in the front are always yellow
