Jeremy Corbyn wants Brexit, his party really doesn't.
He can still voice his opinions and follow the policy of his party
yeah if BoJo went to a massive group of EC members or MEPs and talked about how to get Britain out... would that be ok?
if he talked them into working against the EU
well
he cant
you know why?
Did anyone see their Cringe Compilation of a conference.
because as PM he is a member of teh EC .. and legally cannot say anything bad about the EU
Personal opinion != policy.
so the EU is saying its wrong
not really... if he's saying anything negative about the EU he's not
You do realise you can talk strategy without talking negative about something
Also, if that actually went to the EU court of human rights, then it would be overturned
As it inevitably would
Weez I'm not arguing the semantic. I'm arguing the reality. If any politician campaigned in any foreign country against that country, that would be a foreign politician meddling in another country.
You don't cease being a politician just because you say its a personal capacity. I'm not saying the EU is speaking through Guy when he campaigned for the lib dems. I'm saying a foreign politician, Guy campaigned against the referendum result.
It isn't about the EU speaking through him
I don't think I can even agree to that.
Yes
He promoted them
Remember this
when is the next article 13 vote?
its already gone through right?
doesnt seem like its been implemented
since I can post links on here and see a snippet
I'll agree, that is campaigning
Now I'll ask, why can't he campaign for them?
In a personal capacity, as he's doing
he might be part of alde .. but he is not liberal.... or democratic
He is campaigning as a politician of a foreign power.
much like the UK libdems
And no, his party name is similar but no
