It actually does things like remove the starbrat, have Shepard survive, and the Normandy not piss off to some unknown star system.
Well, I'm fine with the kid being replaced by a user manual booklet, and with Normandy not being Deus Ex-ed, but anything that doesn't kill Shepard is dumb. Death is a perfect conclusion to her/his story.
Kek.
I mean, why should s/he die, though?
If you've got the reputation, and your crew loves you that much, why wouldn't they want to rescue you?
Because Jesus Christ also died to save us
Symbolism.
That's dumb symbolism, tho.
At best, it should be a character choice, like with the end of Dragon Age: Origins.
How much would that choice matter given it's literally game over after it anyway?
Fuck off
Because I spent so many years invested in that character. To have it all thrown away like that, literally caused psychological wounds. I got better in the end, but it was heart-rending.
Jesus symbolism and self sacrifice is so over done
That's partly why it's dumb, yes Muten.
But that's the whole fucking point.
People say originality is dead, and it's idiots like this that are why
Originality was never alive.
What made it so incredibly mishandled in ME3 was the fact you were shoehorned into an RGB "bespoke" ending you had no input into, and destroyed everything you spent three games trying to accomplish.
Find some better way to end your story instead of ripping off literally everything
At this point having literally anything else would be praise worthy just because it's different
it's so over done
It was so badly bungled, the devs had to fucking release a free DLC to even try to fix it. The fix was still pretty pathetic.
You're both just crying because you thought the MC was immortal or something.
Yeah
Nice
Strawman
dlc fix more like dlc flexi tape
I made that.
IKR, Catgirl.
Like I agree about the fucking brat
But the ending is pretty philosophical
I was honestly not impressed with the dlc flexi fixup because i wanted to god damn live and bang my hot space alian waifu
@Goddess Tyche That's the high IQ defence
it's pretentious
@Goddess Tyche The point is that it should have been something influenced by choice. If you rushed everything and did only the bare minimum, then Shepard dies along with everyone else. If you do a halfway job, the galaxy lives but Shepard dies. If you do your best and work hard, then Shepard survives.
That was always supposed to be the point.
I mean god damn, we have united 99% of the universe to fight against the reapers AND we already figured out a way to destroy the reapers and in the end its all down to a numbers game.
So you're just <:salt:501105964758466586> because you're too low IQ to get it?
Also the reapers fear shepard.
Look to explain my point I'm going to use demon souls as an example, everyone loves demons souls, but it's not because it's good, it's not as good as it's hyped up to be, but compared to everything else, it's the only souls like that is unique, and everyone loves it just because of how unique it is, even though it's not really that good
Re-read the meme I posted, Tyche. You're making the same pretentious argument as the guy Deadpool shoots.
