If you're actually trying to fix the pollution problem
1) argue against pollution- it's bad and everyone will agree it's bad- rather than trying to be some sort of doom prophet
2) acknowledge CHINA and INDIA as the actual fucking problem because they produce something like a full order of magnitude more pollution than all of NA and EU combined.

2019-09-24 00:09:13 UTC

And as for WHY China and India are the problem

2019-09-24 00:09:20 UTC

The climate is going to change even if we all become cavemen.

2019-09-24 00:09:22 UTC

All the western world has done is NIMBY bullshit

2019-09-24 00:09:30 UTC

rather than actually trying to fix the problem

2019-09-24 00:09:38 UTC

Excuse me, *almost* all

2019-09-24 00:09:48 UTC

but personal responsibirity D:

2019-09-24 00:10:33 UTC

its like complaining about my single punch against someone while someone else has a machine gun

2019-09-24 00:10:44 UTC

i am arguing against pollution and it will result in for the majority of people extinction if something isnt done

you do know the us and eu combines put out just as much and more over the course of human history

2019-09-24 00:11:03 UTC

we are entering the anthropocene

2019-09-24 00:11:07 UTC

jfc and are they putting out that pollution NOW?

2019-09-24 00:11:09 UTC

China emits 271.53 million metric tons of CO2

2019-09-24 00:11:10 UTC

polution is a localized issue for the most part

2019-09-24 00:11:14 UTC

it doesn't spread like CO2

2019-09-24 00:11:26 UTC

Reducing the already reduced amount of pollution they output won't do jack or shit

2019-09-24 00:11:31 UTC

the chinese have to wear those horrible filters every day

2019-09-24 00:11:39 UTC

@James Connolly then I'll see you in hell

2019-09-24 00:11:56 UTC

Which the earth will supposedly be in 12 years

2019-09-24 00:12:10 UTC

"pollution is a localised issue" any basic understanding of climatology to go with that ???no i was guessing....

2019-09-24 00:12:17 UTC

also heavy enough pollution should have the opposite effect, block sunlight

2019-09-24 00:12:18 UTC

you said nobody peer reviewed those "we're all gonna die" things, then say we're all gonna die if somethings not done...lol

2019-09-24 00:12:26 UTC

but that;sa terrible way of cooling anything

2019-09-24 00:12:52 UTC

@James Connolly how do you propose we make china and india stop polluting? Millitary force? They don't listen to reason

2019-09-24 00:12:57 UTC

youc an breathe air in any european location just fine

2019-09-24 00:13:10 UTC

go to the heavy industrial areas of china and it's the same shit since the 80s

2019-09-24 00:13:12 UTC

heavy smog

2019-09-24 00:13:27 UTC

pollution is therefore mostly contained

2019-09-24 00:13:31 UTC

CO2 is the issue here

2019-09-24 00:13:42 UTC

don;t give a shit about plastic in the ocean

2019-09-24 00:13:51 UTC

that's another lack of common sense issue

2019-09-24 00:13:57 UTC

you do know that is the sollution windlead? geoenginneerign phosphourous compound in the stratosphere to lower global temperature but that is no simple task, you dont understand the heating effect

2019-09-24 00:14:13 UTC

I was thinking of a mechanical approach

2019-09-24 00:14:17 UTC

not a chemical one

2019-09-24 00:14:29 UTC

actual solar sails blocking sunlight

2019-09-24 00:14:32 UTC

@James Connolly welcome to the plot of snowpiercer and the colony

2019-09-24 00:14:34 UTC

big enough

2019-09-24 00:14:41 UTC

thats terrifying. "we're not sure of the long term effects, but lets throw chemicals into the air"

2019-09-24 00:14:47 UTC

Enjoy your roach bars

2019-09-24 00:14:53 UTC
