In the US there's no diversity requirement

2019-09-24 13:12:19 UTC

I would be all over Russia now, if the god damned KGB wasn't thinking only of nukes and weapons against the west and trying to convert its communist propaganda into a Nazi one.

2019-09-24 13:12:29 UTC

Yeah, there's no requirement.

2019-09-24 13:12:54 UTC

@Hexidecimark How shall I put it-I'm not a nice guy to work with when someone talks bullshit around me.

2019-09-24 13:12:57 UTC

Lol, @yordanyordanov. Just move to the U.S. already.

2019-09-24 13:13:02 UTC

A great problem of mine.

2019-09-24 13:13:34 UTC

I work with people like that

2019-09-24 13:13:42 UTC

Do you?

2019-09-24 13:13:47 UTC

In me college, aye

2019-09-24 13:14:05 UTC

I have always thought your campusses were full of commies.

2019-09-24 13:14:15 UTC

Some are

2019-09-24 13:14:19 UTC

And I have enough commies around me already in here.

2019-09-24 13:14:23 UTC

This one is far from it

2019-09-24 13:15:45 UTC

For example there was one journal in philosophy of science that I really wanted to publish in until I saw the chief editor spewing venom at markets because they would allow the rich to exploit the rest of the world.

2019-09-24 13:16:10 UTC

I'm serious dude, most of the philosophers of science i had seen tell me all about dialectics.

2019-09-24 13:16:22 UTC

The thing about a lot of those people is that they really don't read very far in

2019-09-24 13:16:24 UTC

And this is coming from as West as it can get.

2019-09-24 13:16:58 UTC

A cellophane layer of compliance can veil an ocean of dissent, so to speak

2019-09-24 13:17:09 UTC

The other two fields I have direct contact with-origins of life and astrobiology is that there is this absurd hypothesis

2019-09-24 13:17:47 UTC

called the RNA world in the origins of life that gets like 90% of the funding and I'm really not onto that bandwagon

2019-09-24 13:18:18 UTC

Well, you could start from another angle then

2019-09-24 13:18:20 UTC

and astrobiology is practically owned by NASA which is the quintessence of Big government as you know it.

2019-09-24 13:19:01 UTC

I'm actually trying to do that-I want to break in the filed of complexity science but am not so sure how to formulate a decent paper yet.

2019-09-24 13:19:29 UTC

I know it will take more time and i have some shits in my personal life I need to solve, too.

2019-09-24 13:20:15 UTC

This is a bit of an interesting read: https://arxiv.org/pdf/1712.08961.pdf

2019-09-24 13:20:30 UTC

Well I'd start with the concepts overall, and then don't try the math in exacting bits, try it more in general logical forms and then derive equations from those

2019-09-24 13:20:46 UTC

I think I may break through journals dedicated to complexity or system biology but need to find the right maths first.

2019-09-24 13:21:11 UTC
2019-09-24 13:21:41 UTC

I really would love to finally publish that paper just don't know where and how.

2019-09-24 13:22:09 UTC

Like when we did our equations for cloud bursting (use another machine like it was an extension of an existing one), we didn't start with the final product, we started with
"If you have the resources to, and need to, then burst"

2019-09-24 13:22:18 UTC

But the thing is I can't get my PhD yet.

2019-09-24 13:22:47 UTC

Not in this country and its educational environment.

2019-09-24 13:22:57 UTC

I'm too *strange* for them.

2019-09-24 13:22:58 UTC

Then we defined the resources, and the need requirements, and then we boiled those into mathematical statements to build the algorithm for it

2019-09-24 13:23:15 UTC

Also have tons of problems accepting any applications, too.

2019-09-24 13:23:34 UTC

This is why I decided to try different fields instead.

2019-09-24 13:23:47 UTC

If we tried to tackle the math head on, it'd have been impossible

2019-09-24 13:23:51 UTC

@Hexidecimark Well, what was the topic of the paper?

2019-09-24 13:24:05 UTC

What model did you start with?

2019-09-24 13:24:24 UTC

Real time AI based on cube computing is the full paper

2019-09-24 13:25:09 UTC

The sub-paper we were doing was a facet of cube, and we started from scratch and a pile of information on computing
