2019-09-16 17:24:24 UTC

Like 100% of everyone, theoretically

2019-09-16 17:24:33 UTC

Authoritarianism is a stupid, meaningless category. It's analogous to 'being reactionary' under Communist rule or 'judeo bolshevism' under the NSDAP. It's just means not being what we are.

2019-09-16 17:24:36 UTC

The people are too dumb

2019-09-16 17:24:39 UTC

Liberalism just says that everything that isn't Liberal is Authoritarian.

2019-09-16 17:25:06 UTC

We vote for parties not for leaders

2019-09-16 17:25:08 UTC

not true

2019-09-16 17:25:34 UTC

It wouldn't be authoritarian n that moment, especially if it was a super libertarian global government. But the trouble is that it can accumulate power over time and become anything other than it originally was and since it's the only government there's nowhere you can go

2019-09-16 17:25:41 UTC

>Imagine running your mouth about a parlamentary system

What government that isn;t Liberal isn't Authoritarian then?

2019-09-16 17:25:53 UTC

Bojo is the speaker for the ruling party

2019-09-16 17:26:07 UTC

The PM is just the speaker for the ruling party

2019-09-16 17:26:19 UTC

ares, if you're moving law-making rules up into larger structures that transcend national boundaries, then that is more authoritarian by definition, and in practice in the aggregate

2019-09-16 17:26:24 UTC

bojo is a dictator who cant control parliament and shut is down

2019-09-16 17:26:26 UTC

2019-09-16 17:26:58 UTC

I'm gonna go with: you don't actually have an example because I am right.

2019-09-16 17:26:59 UTC

I think we mean slightly different things by authoritarian, but I can agree with that

2019-09-16 17:27:00 UTC

At the county level we vote for person

2019-09-16 17:27:00 UTC
