I'm way behind.

2019-09-18 04:28:20 UTC

despite kylo being slammed by a bowcaster and all, i think he should have still won due to his years of being trained

2019-09-18 04:28:31 UTC

@Porkchop I loved Rogue One, as it was a Star Wars movie.

2019-09-18 04:28:40 UTC

the new films feel like they were made by that bitter younger sister who was TIRED of listening to her brothers rave about how great star war was

2019-09-18 04:28:45 UTC

Speaking of behind on, another one I enjoyed was the Dresden Chronicles.

2019-09-18 04:28:45 UTC

Rogue One makes no fucking sense as a prequel to IV

2019-09-18 04:29:09 UTC

it's like they purposefully shit all over it just to smite people

2019-09-18 04:29:27 UTC

Vader nearly boarded the fucking ship the plans were on, why is he playing so coy when he catches them in IV?

2019-09-18 04:29:28 UTC

I was bored watching 7 and refused to see 8, which im fairly sure was the right choice. I haven't even watched an ep 9 trailer. Im simply not interested. Star Wars stops at ep 6 for me

2019-09-18 04:29:36 UTC

Yeah, I'm done with this old conversation with one note - Kylo Ren wasn't all that well trained with the lightsaber, Snoke despised the things.

2019-09-18 04:30:12 UTC

JJ Ass-Clown should burn in hell

2019-09-18 04:30:19 UTC

along with alll his buddies

2019-09-18 04:30:38 UTC

rian johnson’s getting his own trilogy <:pepelaugh:544857300179877898> <:pepelaugh:544857300179877898>

2019-09-18 04:30:43 UTC

Anyway, Dresden Chronicles is notable for me as Chicago's my hometown so...

2019-09-18 04:30:50 UTC

I didn't read any Dresden. I did make a character for the RPG and watch some of the SciFi channel show

2019-09-18 04:31:26 UTC

why is it that with the information age, the QUALITY of unique and memorable stories is in signicant decline?

2019-09-18 04:31:42 UTC

because you gotta look for them

2019-09-18 04:31:44 UTC

harder

2019-09-18 04:32:00 UTC

nah, that makes little sense

2019-09-18 04:32:03 UTC

Never got a chance to play the rpg unfortunately. I was looking forward to it. Made a guy who was a bum that specialized specifically in hiding in plain sight, info gathering, and escape.

2019-09-18 04:32:07 UTC

Show?

2019-09-18 04:32:08 UTC

that's only true in the mainstream entertainment ManAnimal

2019-09-18 04:32:27 UTC

again, we aren't talking main stream even

2019-09-18 04:32:41 UTC

you just can't compare the last 20 yrs with the 20 yrs before

2019-09-18 04:32:44 UTC

no comparison

2019-09-18 04:32:50 UTC

literature, film, music

2019-09-18 04:33:01 UTC

not just the popular but even the archaic

2019-09-18 04:33:06 UTC

You weren't aware?

2019-09-18 04:33:19 UTC

Eh, even off the cuff is less interesting overall... which was what I was talking about on the scarcity of entertainment media.

2019-09-18 04:33:26 UTC

No, I wasn't. Q.Q

2019-09-18 04:33:34 UTC

Wait no that's files, not chronicles

2019-09-18 04:33:34 UTC

yup

2019-09-18 04:33:37 UTC

Is that different?

2019-09-18 04:34:18 UTC

i mean you have some new stories, but comparing any author with the likes of Arthur C. Clarke is just... an insult

2019-09-18 04:35:25 UTC

just he alone could double the number of new and unique stories that will be REMEMBERED

2019-09-18 04:35:39 UTC

everything else? will be forgotten

2019-09-18 04:36:04 UTC

from the modern day i mean

2019-09-18 04:36:11 UTC

I don't think it's different. I'll have to get more into it, but it might be based on.

2019-09-18 04:36:38 UTC

@Laucivol how do you feel about DnD?

2019-09-18 04:37:26 UTC

Entertaining enough, actually ran a 4th ED (blegh!) campaign relatively recently.
