You do it when they get to your country. Other wise they can claim to be European.
Anybody else think the writers were being really lazy when they named the villain of the WW2 arc "HITler"
londinium specifically was a trading city
it got burnt to the ground by boudicca
Like, oh yeah that's so totally a real name. Next week it'll be "KICKman"
I dunno man. It's that brilliant divide between meta and believability
After siding with Julius Caesar during his civil war against Pompey, the town was formally established as a Roman colony for Caesar’s veterans in 46 or 45 B.C
@Sham00e so it was a preexisting town
Sounds german as fuck, and still gets a laugh
HIT is not a word in the German language
and a lot of land in its environs were given to veteran legionaiires
But it got bigger
when they retired
yeah
Fucking rudolph hitler
im sure it did consiering the fact it had civilized men keeping the countryside safe
and it was a port city
so it would actually become prosperous
with a pirate free mediterranean
Would that be the Third Rike? :^)
Sorry, that was obscure. Deer term.
and ports to deliver to within the country
This show went to shit after they had America fight itself for no reason and then go into a massive filler arc about fucking trains
😠
@Sham00e its worth noting tho
that while these sorts of places became more romanized
and were frequented by wealthy romans
the vast majority of legionairres
hailed from romes environs
the senators and whatnot
came from there as well
and virtually all extra italian roman cities
succumbed when rome collapsed
Still smelling distinctly of French. They love them legionnaires.
slowly shrinking
as the roads became unsafe
the mediterranean became unsafe
