**he's acknowledging this**

Specialized operating systems are not better than windows. They're just tailored to very narrow environments, which makes them the best IN THAT PARTICULAR CONTEXT.

@Arthur Grayborn Read the NSDAP's 25 point plan and tell me if you think it looks good

If you disagree, please show me that super computer china made, of which you bought a replica of. Without one, I have to default back to my latter statement. You're talking about toys

lmao

Ok. I have a new system.
It’s called uni-kitty-cashism.
Instead of capitalism, or socialism, what we do is have an entire economy based around unicorn farts and kitten giggles.
We have a grand unicorn, with all the power of love and harmony, manage the economy in all its complexity. It will be perfect because unicorns are completely unbiased and good.
But we also need a form of currency, so what we do is, we take the unicorns farts, and make small kittens sniff them. This will, obviously, make the kittens giggle.
Now, these kitten giggles will be distributed fairly and with great social justice by the grand unicorn. We then use these kitten giggles to trade for what we need.
It’s perfect because the harder the unicorn works, the more it farts, and the more kitten giggles there are for everyone. So inflation is kept in check naturally.

In *theory* this will work.

*Grins like a self satisfied jackarse*

@Reprehensibletrash - I'm pretty sure China's super-computer runs on a super-lightweight operating system, because they want to leave as much processing power as possible for scientific simulations.

2019-07-16 05:12:11 UTC

we've found the genius of our times

2019-07-16 05:12:18 UTC

@Scale_e please run for emperor

2019-07-16 05:12:32 UTC

And windows beats that, of course

2019-07-16 05:12:39 UTC

Windows is the best

2019-07-16 05:12:50 UTC

For general purpose operating systems, yeah.

2019-07-16 05:12:54 UTC

Better than anything we might not have access to

2019-07-16 05:12:56 UTC

Lmao

2019-07-16 05:13:17 UTC

If you're making shit like an ICBM, you design an operating system specifically for that one missile platform, because ANY unnecessary function needs to be cut out and removed.

2019-07-16 05:13:25 UTC

If none of this works, if it ends in starvation and genocide, well that’s just because we didn’t implement uni-kitty-cashism correctly, and should try again.
Maybe in venuzuela.

2019-07-16 05:13:49 UTC

**lightweight baby**

2019-07-16 05:14:10 UTC

And of course Linux is completely incapable of making such a customizable system

2019-07-16 05:14:47 UTC

Certainly has no other factors at play, just that people can't code

2019-07-16 05:14:55 UTC

Supercomputers run super-lightweight systems because you're not trying to do even 10% of the shit that Windows is capable of, and all of those extra features require processing power and add to the complexity of the system. All you want is a fucking interface to run compiled code through, because you're literally creating fresh software whose entire job is to crunch numbers.

You don't want anything getting in the way of that.

2019-07-16 05:15:17 UTC

muh WAM

2019-07-16 05:15:26 UTC

So you own one of these? 😂😂

2019-07-16 05:15:29 UTC

Just use a calculator

2019-07-16 05:15:50 UTC

Supercomputer operating systems are often the lightest and simplest operating systems in existence, and I speak as someone who comes from a CS background.

They don't have the bells and whistles you're expecting. Most of them run a command line operating system.

2019-07-16 05:16:05 UTC

Because I'm 99% sure you're talking about something you don't understand, and none who would in gov, will tell you

2019-07-16 05:16:06 UTC

Not even a GUI half the time.

2019-07-16 05:16:24 UTC

Generalizations about tech, from a techie

2019-07-16 05:17:32 UTC

Look, this has been fun and all, but I'm done speaking to the mentally deficient. I've got two hours until my time is up

2019-07-16 05:17:33 UTC

Supercomputers literally exist for two things:

1) Running simulations
2) Processing tons of data

The actual operating system is super light, because it needs to be.

The software running on the supercomputer is where the magic happens.

2019-07-16 05:17:39 UTC

Later all non retards

2019-07-16 05:18:37 UTC

Has that fucker EVER written a program, or read even a single article about supercomputer?

Every CS major in existence should be familiar with the shitshow that is command line operating systems, and know why such an operating system would be used in supercomputer environments.

2019-07-16 05:18:52 UTC

@Arthur Grayborn I'm sure china built their super computers to stare at a wall, and display no information. You obviously have the grandest perspective on international agencies

2019-07-16 05:19:13 UTC

@Reprehensibletrash - They probably "displayed" the information on a separate machine.

2019-07-16 05:19:29 UTC

Using tabulations and data collections assembled by the supercomputer.

```5. Non-citizens may live in Germany only as guests and must be subject to laws for aliens.
7. We demand that the State shall make it its primary duty to provide a livelihood for its citizens. If it should prove impossible to feed the entire population, foreign nationals (non-citizens) must be deported from the Reich.
9. All citizens shall have equal rights and duties.
11. The abolition of incomes unearned by work.
12. In view of the enormous sacrifices of life and property demanded of a nation by any war, personal enrichment from war must be regarded as a crime against the nation. We demand therefore the ruthless confiscation of all war profits.
13. We demand the nationalization of all businesses which have been formed into corporations (trusts).```
2019-07-16 05:19:40 UTC
```20. The State must consider a thorough reconstruction of our national system of education (with the aim of opening up to every able and hard-working German the possibility of higher education and of thus obtaining advancement). The curricula of all educational establishments must be brought into line with the requirements of practical life. The aim of the school must be to give the pupil, beginning with the first sign of intelligence, a grasp of the nation of the State (through the study of civic affairs). We demand the education of gifted children of poor parents, whatever their class or occupation, at the expense of the State.

21. The State must ensure that the nation's health standards are raised by protecting mothers and infants, by prohibiting child labor, by promoting physical strength through legislation providing for compulsory gymnastics and sports, and by the extensive support of clubs engaged in the physical training of youth.```
