Thorium shitorium

2019-07-18 10:12:33 UTC

in the matter of batteries its still a better, safer and easier to transport alternative to tanks of extremely sensitive fuel

2019-07-18 10:13:00 UTC

Oh yeah wouldn't want people to be unsafe eh

2019-07-18 10:13:02 UTC

Lol

2019-07-18 10:13:21 UTC

How benevolent yes

2019-07-18 10:13:33 UTC

a bunch of batteries getting mishandled is a better alternative to turning transports into bombs

2019-07-18 10:13:58 UTC

Fuck I hope you'll never find out about fertilizers

2019-07-18 10:14:06 UTC

generate electricity with safer nuclear technology

2019-07-18 10:14:11 UTC

Yep

2019-07-18 10:14:13 UTC

rather than gassing the yeets

2019-07-18 10:14:18 UTC

Yup

2019-07-18 10:14:21 UTC

and snuffing black powder

2019-07-18 10:14:28 UTC

handling radioactive goop is disgusting and models have and are likely still debated by <:BIGBRAIN:501101491428392991>

2019-07-18 10:17:00 UTC

the main problems i remember among safety issues and past historical aesthetic were the costs

2019-07-18 10:17:32 UTC

You mean of building and running a nuclear power plant?

2019-07-18 10:17:37 UTC

supposedly

2019-07-18 10:17:57 UTC

it's not as simple as pulling the lever, Kronk

2019-07-18 10:24:43 UTC

Yeah, levers are so outdated. We use buttons nowadays

2019-07-18 10:28:57 UTC

Pull the button

2019-07-18 10:29:16 UTC

@Ayylmao Can I get a refund for Fallout 76?

2019-07-18 10:30:41 UTC

Yes you just have to create a premium Bethesda account, it's 60 bucks and allows you to refund fallout 76 or get a new colour to your armour to be chosen from the rich selection of red blue and green

2019-07-18 10:30:59 UTC

Oooh, I want a green one

2019-07-18 10:31:28 UTC

Grün

2019-07-18 10:50:16 UTC

Silly argument about the centralisation

2019-07-18 10:50:26 UTC

Because you reduce end point emissions

2019-07-18 10:50:48 UTC

Then if you improve the generation of the electricity itself

2019-07-18 10:50:55 UTC

Then the whole process is a lot cleaner

2019-07-18 10:51:31 UTC

'then'? you mean than?

2019-07-18 10:51:44 UTC

which one 😛

2019-07-18 10:51:46 UTC

haha

2019-07-18 10:51:47 UTC

I mean then as in then the next stage

2019-07-18 10:51:57 UTC

yes

2019-07-18 10:51:58 UTC

ok

2019-07-18 10:52:42 UTC

my underslept brain kinda struggles with this? reducing end point emissions doesnt increase centralisation? is that your point?

2019-07-18 10:54:01 UTC

i mean you couldve said the fuel delivery is already fully centralised lol

2019-07-18 10:54:04 UTC

but yeah

2019-07-18 10:54:06 UTC

dunnae

2019-07-18 10:54:08 UTC

🤷

2019-07-18 10:54:24 UTC

My point is that yes, if the electric generated to power electric cars is generated from unclean sources such as gas or coal or whatever then yea electric cars are pointless. BUT, as electricity is generated via cleaner methods then the end point of emissions in the process (the car itself) will be a net positive as electricity in itself doesn’t produce emissions, but petrol/diesel does
