Well, I can't believe climate change when the same news is calling for space is sexist.

And not even joking.

2019-07-22 12:30:12 UTC

Death in June has some very good points on it

2019-07-22 12:30:21 UTC

Apart from that last one lmao

2019-07-22 12:30:27 UTC

😂😂

2019-07-22 12:30:50 UTC

Brandon you have the same issues

2019-07-22 12:31:03 UTC

It’s only a very small amount of people who say shit like that

2019-07-22 12:31:13 UTC

It’s not a reason to just ignore the whole debate

2019-07-22 12:31:22 UTC

penetrating the atmosphere with spacecraft is rape

2019-07-22 12:31:31 UTC

It's also the tendency to blame ourselves for much of the evil that was done. Some of that is reasonable, since colonial powers did some cruel stuff, but _some_ of it bleeds to stuff like climate change and people have this inherent bias. It's not even intentional, but people are then more inclined to believe that we've done/are doing something evil once again.

2019-07-22 12:31:52 UTC

Mate I don’t get why you keep bringing the convo onto white people and colonialism

2019-07-22 12:32:03 UTC

This is about climate change

2019-07-22 12:32:18 UTC

You have such a chip on your shoulder

2019-07-22 12:32:47 UTC

Because what we primarily start blaming when a problem occurs greatly influences what we beleive.

2019-07-22 12:32:59 UTC

And I'm not saying the opposite would be healty

2019-07-22 12:33:00 UTC

But people aren’t primarily blaming white people

2019-07-22 12:33:05 UTC

Ive only seen that from you

2019-07-22 12:33:15 UTC

And you clearly go looking for this stuff

2019-07-22 12:33:18 UTC

To get offended over

2019-07-22 12:33:42 UTC

I'm not talking about non-whites pushing this

2019-07-22 12:33:43 UTC

The vast vast vast majority of people just blame fossil fuel use and emissions

2019-07-22 12:33:47 UTC

Not a particular race

2019-07-22 12:34:43 UTC

I'm talking about white people pushing this. Because it's kinda in the culture to look at what one could have done wrong, before blaming others. And often good, but it's a matter of degree.

2019-07-22 12:35:03 UTC

More so than many other cultures, that is.

2019-07-22 12:35:16 UTC

Again, you keep dragging the convo away from the main topic

2019-07-22 12:35:27 UTC

Which is CLIMATE CHANGE

2019-07-22 12:35:36 UTC

Not white peoples sense of guilt

2019-07-22 12:35:40 UTC

It's directly connected.

2019-07-22 12:35:43 UTC

No it’s not

2019-07-22 12:35:51 UTC

White guilt doesn’t pollute the atmosphere

2019-07-22 12:35:57 UTC

My complaint is power grabbing in the name of tackling climate change. Yes the West needs to set an example, but China and India need reform

2019-07-22 12:36:01 UTC

Pollution pollutes the atmosphere

2019-07-22 12:36:10 UTC

If we have tendency to blame ourselves, we will be more inclined to believe that we've done something wrong.

2019-07-22 12:36:17 UTC

I don't see how you could dispute that

2019-07-22 12:36:19 UTC

But who CARES

2019-07-22 12:36:20 UTC

We should probably put trade policies in place to refuse deals with countries that don't comply

2019-07-22 12:36:24 UTC

Only YOU care

2019-07-22 12:36:35 UTC

We need to make action

2019-07-22 12:36:48 UTC

But not in the form of radical leftist disruptors

2019-07-22 12:36:55 UTC

And all I see is you being a climate change denier because some silly articles said mean things about white people

2019-07-22 12:37:03 UTC

The other guy here suggested that we have inherent interest in climate change not being caused by humans.
That is what I'm disputing
