You are having some odd self-hating idea that humans are some great evil which are causing irreparable damage to Earth. This is silly to extreme, all things will pass in nature. You just fail to see the large scale, even if humans would do their UTMOST to fuck this planet over they could not kill it.

2019-08-01 01:24:09 UTC

It would be repaired.

2019-08-01 01:24:26 UTC

I never said that humans would destroy the earth

2019-08-01 01:24:27 UTC

what r u talking about?

2019-08-01 01:24:37 UTC

At all. lol good straw man though

2019-08-01 01:24:42 UTC

^^

2019-08-01 01:24:52 UTC

"Our mere existence causes irreparable damage" could be i read this wrong.

2019-08-01 01:24:53 UTC

that isn't what i got from him either

2019-08-01 01:25:15 UTC

yes and thus one could infer that if we no longer existed 😃 the damage would stop

2019-08-01 01:25:25 UTC

the planet would move on, as you say

2019-08-01 01:25:32 UTC

it does; humans don't reach equillibrum with the planet

2019-08-01 01:25:39 UTC

they take but dont give back

2019-08-01 01:25:40 UTC

I had an idea.

2019-08-01 01:25:42 UTC

The world would be better off wthout us

2019-08-01 01:26:01 UTC

well i think human life is a great thing, its beautiful. its just everything has a cost <:trumpepe:588019356215279642>

2019-08-01 01:26:01 UTC

'better' is subjective

2019-08-01 01:26:22 UTC

more money is better; but if u are dead, what does it matter?

2019-08-01 01:26:34 UTC

Humans are moving on this earth of ours, consuming energy and moving it about. All we take from it goes back. Earth is a closed system as humans 'products' goes.

2019-08-01 01:26:34 UTC

I take better to mean greater biodiversity

2019-08-01 01:26:58 UTC

it doesnt matter if the world would be better without us

2019-08-01 01:27:00 UTC

we're in it to win it

2019-08-01 01:27:10 UTC

no cause it took millenia to make a gallon of gasoline

2019-08-01 01:27:26 UTC

well id say that one could objectively say that a parking garage does damage the planet to some degree. i mean its concrete over nature. however that doesnt mean a parking garage is inherently bad or evil

2019-08-01 01:27:35 UTC

we each burn 100s of gallons that won't be back for another couple of millenia

2019-08-01 01:27:47 UTC

oh, is that your complaint?

2019-08-01 01:27:49 UTC

so go nuclear

2019-08-01 01:27:51 UTC

its cleaner

2019-08-01 01:27:57 UTC

What if every defendant or plaintiff had the option to accept the service of a public attorney... And the attorney gets a a cut of the winnings.

2019-08-01 01:28:01 UTC

not a complaint just observation

2019-08-01 01:28:10 UTC

im already nuclear *see what i did*

2019-08-01 01:28:13 UTC

biology increased exponentially

2019-08-01 01:28:20 UTC

resources linearly

remember, if bacteria in a dish DOUBLE every minute, exactly 1 minute before there is no more space at all, the dish will still be HALF empty

2019-08-01 01:29:45 UTC

@ManAnimal there's caviats to that

2019-08-01 01:30:10 UTC

means it's easy to cross a threshold where we have more people than we can keep up with and start killing each other off for what is left

2019-08-01 01:30:23 UTC

All caveats deal with prime growth conditions.

2019-08-01 01:30:27 UTC

*doubles every minute under optimum conditions* half filled isn't optimum

yea but bacteria wont invent sex robots <:thinking_clown:590855640268668928>

2019-08-01 01:30:50 UTC

caveats are exceptions and N^2 is pretty concrete
