Ah. And I assume that you consider yourself an *actual* scientist? @Coolitic
Yes
It's in the title
Okay, what is the title, then?
Computer *Scientist*
Not a low-tier IT fag
An actual Computer Scientist
Oh 1.9% ukip get no seats
Lol
And, what is your particular area of expertise?
That's the point, you retard. It's the point at which the AI is sufficiently advanced/partially self-aware and able to improve itself faster than humans can improve AI . It doesn't mean AI takes over the world, just AI advancement, but we don't know what else will happen. It *could* take over the world, sure, but that's not *necessarily* part of the definition of the singularity
Computers
You retard
Yes, but litteral AI takeover is not in the definition of the fucking word.
It's a very likely outcome OF the singularity, but not THE singularity @Coolitic
scientist computer
1.9% is from 2017
predicted is 0.0%
lmfao
Literally like the second most common science degree
@mikimof2 i literally proved that your statement cannot mean anything unless AI is involved
"The shortage of labour has resulted in an increase in employment costs. Wages have dis-proportionally risen and many East Europeans are saying I am off home, because the pound sterling has dropped 10% recently. They still measure their salaries in euros not sterling. For those who have settled in England it makes no difference."
heres the thing though.... the euro was less valuable in 2008 than it is now...

in 2008 it was 0.97
All the time
lmao ukip is deader than dead
Yeah saying computer science is as specific as natural science.
@Coolitic What empirical data do you produce and work with as a Computer Scientists?
@Coolitic you said that the singularity is AI takeover, I demonstrated that it isn't. You can't change your words after you said them.
@Laucivol efficiency of algorithms and architectures, but again, you are so incredibly vague
CompSci is less useful than "script kiddie"
@Laucivol because my expertise ranges across a wide variety of things
