Hmmmm, I don't remember
am I completely wrong
?
But it's only 1
Not negative
If you're thinking of it like 7 is neutral and like 0 on a number scale
It's a fitting analogy
But the pH scale is logarithmic and has to do with free H+ or OH groups
Iirc
The log function has negative values...
Makes sense, I'm most saying sulfur springs are about 1
@Diocleziano I wasnt saying it didn't :3
Yeah I was thinking of HCl and confused it with sulfur
Im just saying these are totally ~1
It all depends really
So it is possible to have negative ph?
Acids are one end bases are another
Probably
Yes, high molarity of H ions
Gotcha
You'd calculate it as such.
you can calculate negative pH but we can't test it
Per the article and that makes sense based on what I remember
You can, but at that point it's not really worth it tbh
Like calculating pi lol
Yeah, but for a different reason
Pi doesn't have a measurable real world parallel, you can't reliable draw a circle with a calculated pi value circumference like you can cook up an acid with a calculated negative pH
At that point theres likely to be a lot of error due to the physical nature of what's being tested
the closer to 7 the more reliable it is to calculate and test
🦆
Kek
I wonder who in cali is doing the trump body count
I just checked Texas has hits now too for Trump
But it's just that and cali
Pic coming
