you have $1000 but your car needs $750 repairs and the Water heater needs replaced, ($600) what do you do?

2019-08-11 18:59:09 UTC

Replace the damn car.

2019-08-11 18:59:18 UTC

On credit, XD

2019-08-11 18:59:24 UTC

borrow someone else's car or swap out hot water heaters

2019-08-11 18:59:31 UTC

Because that's how consumerism works.

2019-08-11 18:59:34 UTC

credit and new car aren't options

2019-08-11 18:59:44 UTC

hence the question

2019-08-11 18:59:47 UTC

XD. Sorry, had to be a smartass.

2019-08-11 18:59:54 UTC

lol; understood

2019-08-11 19:00:01 UTC

they arent really on credit are they?

2019-08-11 19:00:05 UTC

you get what i mean, don't think most of the kiddies do

2019-08-11 19:00:05 UTC

least not credit cards

2019-08-11 19:00:11 UTC

most new cars are on payment plans these days

2019-08-11 19:00:23 UTC

couple hundred a month

2019-08-11 19:00:26 UTC

Oh, absolutely- gotta find a solution to the problem at hand.

2019-08-11 19:00:33 UTC

the POINT of the excercise is to work within the contraints of the problem

2019-08-11 19:00:34 UTC

@BabaBooey imagine thinking that all ppl are the same lul

2019-08-11 19:00:53 UTC

Yeah, and the implication is that vehicles are available etc..

2019-08-11 19:01:04 UTC

i already stated explictly 'how much money' so that is a fixed var

2019-08-11 19:01:23 UTC

lol

2019-08-11 19:01:27 UTC

relying on unprovided information for your problem is retarded

2019-08-11 19:01:27 UTC

fix car, take cold showers, stop eating out, fix water heater a couple weeks later.

2019-08-11 19:01:37 UTC

yup, exactly... some terms are given explcitly; others you can go outside the box

2019-08-11 19:01:43 UTC

you can just gt a gym membership and take showers there

2019-08-11 19:02:04 UTC

too many academics when give a problem with no solution just 'freeze'

2019-08-11 19:02:21 UTC

Though, honestly, when I ran into a similar issue, my practical solution was to run said line of credit- and when it was discovered that my credit wasn't well enough established, find a resource that could cosign until that was rectified.

2019-08-11 19:02:29 UTC

yoiu can also rent cars

2019-08-11 19:02:31 UTC

for pretty cheap

2019-08-11 19:02:58 UTC

Rentals add up real fast, though.

2019-08-11 19:02:59 UTC

Rent cars?

2019-08-11 19:03:00 UTC

Lol

2019-08-11 19:03:03 UTC

they don't check each assumption for tolerance in order to find a bandaid long enough for the next permanant fix

2019-08-11 19:03:05 UTC

'no money avail'

2019-08-11 19:03:31 UTC

see, luci keeps going back to the 'explict' rather than implict

2019-08-11 19:03:56 UTC

Yeah, and for the interim, until I did have the minute to go for the car, I rented.

2019-08-11 19:04:03 UTC

youre the one that didnt say when the next money would come in lol

2019-08-11 19:04:04 UTC

Yeah, rentals are good for a couple days at a time, but if you were to rent a car instead of buying or leasing it, you'd end up spending $1000+ per month for the cheapest vehicle available

2019-08-11 19:04:06 UTC

that demonstrates an inability to accept the requirements of reality

2019-08-11 19:04:06 UTC

and youre attacking me for making assumptions based on the lack of information you provided

2019-08-11 19:04:09 UTC

for long-term

2019-08-11 19:04:10 UTC

Because I was limited on borrowed vehicles.
