I think relying on anyone who could actually be allowed to win political power within the current political system, to actually change the system in your favor is naive.

Why?

Two main reasons
1. They call it "the swamp" for a damn good reason, otherwise authentic actors face considerable pressure to cave to the established corrupt paradigm in order to get anything done
2. the kinds of criminal actors maintaining the establishment deserve to hang, and they know this, so if they detect the prospect of an authentic and competent reformer, they will employ every tool at their disposal to obstruct them, up to and including assassination. If some prospective reformer *hasn't* been assassinated, there's a good chance they're not actually all that concerned, and are more simply *annoyed*

The number of times Tommy has been subject to being imprisoned with Muslims is a promising reflection on his authenticity, but I'm still wary. That being said, I can't exactly argue that there are many *better* prospects for the UK, just that I'm wary of vesting too much faith in his ability and mission.

Look, TR played a very dangerous game

He knew this, and you'd be a fool to believe he didn't know

He chose to walk the tightrope, he could've instead played it safer and just propagated his ideas and ran for office

He could've had great success with that, there's no reason not to believe that

And that's in the UK, possibly the most radical left-wing country in the west

Well, Germany, Sweden, and the UK are pretty much competing for that title. Canada sometimes swings in, but it's hard to saturate that large of a territory with sufficient poz to take home the crown.

All four of those are definitely radically left right now
