No, I mean, some of it was Hitler and the Nazis, some of it was their enemies' lies.

Sure, but Hitler didn't have to go to war and murder Jews, it was his stupid ideas about the economy that did this

He was an idiot, he didn't think big, and he didn't think long-term

Moral dimensions are certainly an important factor. But speaking from a purely strategic point of view, his biggest failure was underestimating his opponent, and how extensive their influence was.

It was kind of a case of him being, in one way, *more* correct than he really knew.

Basically, because of how deep the international banking elite already had their claws into the world nations, it ensured that any attempt to seize territory from them, would result in a world war, with tremendous forces rallying against him, whether the people of those nations really wanted it or not.

If you examine contemporary news sources, the war was often *very unpopular* but that didn't matter, because the government actors were invested.

I'm not saying Hitler had an easy task

I'm saying he chose the worst actions

Some were what should have obviously been considered bad decisions, yes.

Others, made more sense at the time, and only retrospect reveals how much of a mistake they really were.

It was a time of revolutions, many people made similar mistakes, not just Hitler, so yeah I agree on that

We should learn from those mistakes and find what are actually the best moves

Like chess players who go from low rating to super GM rating

We need to stop thinking short-term, small scale
