the laws we set in place are just the shit we can agree on.
I use objective tongue in cheek, we can get just close enough to tolerate the definition.
i wasn't entirely joking when i said objective morality is a social construct, if we're happy to use the term despite the obvious issues
Semantics are an idle sport
Of couse you think the idea of objective morals is a social construct if you believe that morality is fundimentally subjective what else could it be
..
God isn't going to be here for a while..
"I find this apolocaplyse to be fairly accommodating"
it's ok, i watched a film this evening that showed god is actually a vengeful petulant brat who just fucks with moses for the lulz
He's actually controlling the NPCs seeing if we'll rise to the challenge.
"exodus: gods and kings" - it wasnt an entirely bad film but it makes god look like a complete asshole
Well, knowing the entire timeline would drive anyone to boredom.
It has to be engaging for us, otherwise we won't buy into the whole life shnazz.
god (depicted as a petulant child) informs moses that 400 years of oppression is enough. you'd have thought 40 would be enough, or even 4. but no - 400 is where he really gets fed up enough to do something about it
You have to want your freedom enough to fight for it, only then will you value it.
the effects were good
He got to do some cool wizardry, the memory of which will leave him laughing all the way to death.
'Grandpa Mo, tell us the Pharaoh story again'
Without Hillary, we would have no meme wars.
So give it your all, ne?
We've still got a lot of work to do, the morale boost will last so long, but I can feel the next horizon
Our challenge is integrating the left (selectively)
And not creating reasons for terrorists
Collectively we stand a really good shot at starting a glorious age for the West, and subsequently the world who looks to us from Hong Kong and elsewhere
A highlight I'm excited for is the alliance forming with Russia
eh
russkis cant do much except be intimidating
And hack obvs
Have you ever met a Russian security guard? Stockiest, burly, most structurally intimidating guys around, yet they've hearts of gold where I was asking directions and such, everyone I met over there was kind (albeit impatient, your spot will get taken if you delay), girls were charming.. Cutest culture. Even the homeless were humble/unintrusive when approaching. :shrugs:. New years had such a good spirit. Military are unapologetic, but essentially young lads with humour
First night I saw some guy get knocked out and dragged around though, before other big guys came along to put him straight
Russian girls still believe in princes
Ah yes
Dreamland, except for the cold

You know...
Maybe God needs another Hitler.
Hitler was a despicable person whom EVERYONE (except the people who supported him) could look at and say "wow that man is mad, he must be stopped."
Perhaps that was the point though.
To create an evil boogy man so that the world, for a time, would work together to stop. Unity through war (or something like that).
Everyone was more concentrated on what Germany was doing than petty BS.
But hey, that's just my two cents.
Even the commies and the capitalists worked together (if not a bit uneasy) during the time.
Remember. All it takes to achieve unity is one big bad guy, a couple million dead bodies, and to make it as black and white as possible. There can't be any room for gray areas.
Well, hitler did pass a law to stop animal mutilation. 1934
he did love his dog
but think about it
everyone is at each others throats
