Trump happens to be a very nationalistic narcissist, so he cares about America, at least so long as enough Americans care about him.

He attacks his enemies relentlessly and impulsively, this is not 4D chess that you're seeing, this is an experienced salesman in the highest political office doing what he does best, both failing and succeeding.

A chaotic force, only held together by his nationalist pride.

I just don't want to leave things overshadowed tho.

Trump is a lucky circumstance, and if America is smart they won't vote him into office again.

He's likely to win, but not for the right reasons.

Don't get me wrong, he has his heart in the right place. But he doesn't come from a place of sincerity. It's about him, and him only.

When Dem voters say they see Hitler in him, they're very inaptly trying to say that even Republicans should fear this man. But not because he resembles Hitler, that's just their warped perception of reality. It's because this man is dangerous.

And I'm not saying Democrat candidates are any better. In case of doubt, Trump would be the best candidate.

And that's a sad thing, in case it went above people's heads.

What America needs, but not deserves, is a good president. Someone who can reconcile both sides. It's just that it won't happen, yet.

Not until Americans themselves find common ground.

The novel 'Watchmen' was written specifically for situations like this one. It tells us that a common enemy is needed.

And trump is probably that common enemy.

But that is a double edged tactic, that can be a very bad idea.
