So you want to have an endless cycle of elites getting killed and replaced?
That's the stupidest idea ever
you're assuming that all of them agreed in those types of ideas
many of them didn't
No I'm not, it's just inevitable
it's inevitable that some people would have those views
so presumably you would remove them from positions of power before they could spread there views
No, that's stupid, because if you have the power to remove them, then they've never had enough power to begin with, YOU'd be the one enforcing it
i.e. a dictatorship
you wouldn't need a dictatorship
look at hungary
it's a starting point
sure it's no where near perfect
Why are people always pointing to one or two countries
Guns solve many problems when a dick becomes a dictator.
The overall trend is very clear, the people simply want politicians to make reasonable policies, and not screw them over. People have very simple desires, they just don't want to get buttfucked and the country going to hell.
Overall most countries are unclear on how progressive or conservative they want to be, it's a mixed bag, it's just happenstance.
In one country it's like this, in the next one slightly different, there's no clear trend anywhere.
the socially conservative Hungarian government spreads their values via state controlled media and education, it's an interesting starting point
it's something that should be emulated
It's one population
Americans for example, they're not Hungarians
no shit
Different history, different people, everything different
Sounds like propaganda and government red scare programs but okay.
No it's more that Ethreen is looking at Hungary very superficially
I'd prefer a population that knows the truth than a population that thinks the way you want them to think.
all i'm saying is that Hungarian style governments should be emulated
thats not a very radical idea
And I was trying to show that stuff like that has been tried in america and thoses are two prominent examples.
You're arguing it should be state-enforced
yes
and
Then don't beat around the bush, you want a dictatorship
It's a radical idea for a government to have a right to enforce what people think and experience.
Or a monarchy, which is in the same ballpark, so whatever
The UK is going to shit because it's a fuckfest of undemocratic leadership positions, so the way I see it, leaving things in the hands of a few elite is a terrible idea
^
i dont want i dictatorship because i dont want to die, i believe people should be equipt with protections to remove dictators i.e guns, with that being said i want to live in a functioning state with non-degenerate values, if that means living in a slightly less free country so be it
You won't have guns when this traditionalism thing becomes enforced
