>When was the last 9/11 in America?

2019-08-08 23:41:58 UTC

Why are rightwingers held responsible for school shootings?

2019-08-08 23:42:16 UTC

We're talking about mass-shootings in general

2019-08-08 23:42:21 UTC

Not just school ones

2019-08-08 23:42:33 UTC

Majority of the recent big (publicized) attacks have been right-wing orientated

2019-08-08 23:43:01 UTC

Which ones?

2019-08-08 23:43:30 UTC

there were more terrorist incidents in 1981-1983 than in 2015-2017

2019-08-08 23:43:32 UTC

***OOF***

2019-08-08 23:44:37 UTC

Las Vegas, El Passo, the synagogue shit

2019-08-08 23:44:44 UTC

Las vegas was right wing?

2019-08-08 23:44:55 UTC

Guy had a swastika

2019-08-08 23:45:02 UTC

And a note promising the "revolution"

2019-08-08 23:45:24 UTC

On August 3, 2018, Las Vegas Sheriff Joe Lombardo held a press conference on the release of the "LVMPD Criminal Investigative Report of the 1 October Mass Casualty Shooting". He said the 10-month investigation had revealed no evidence of conspiracy or a second gunman, and that the gunman's motive had not been definitely determined.

2019-08-08 23:45:29 UTC

Or was that another one, I forget?

2019-08-08 23:46:32 UTC

there have also been less casualties

2019-08-08 23:47:06 UTC

>Guns, guns, guns, guns

2019-08-08 23:47:33 UTC

@Weez Las Vegas shooter... you mean the one who shot from some hotel room? Was he rightwinger?

@SPOOKY Phil, Ruler of Heck Your list of terrorist attacks doesn't even include firebombing of the ICE facility, does it?

2019-08-08 23:47:40 UTC

The big events like El Passo add even more hype around the issues

2019-08-08 23:47:44 UTC

Making people talk about them more

2019-08-08 23:48:00 UTC

@whiic I can't remember if it was that one, or the one which targeted the police

2019-08-08 23:48:02 UTC

yea these all seem extremely partisan

2019-08-08 23:48:08 UTC

>Imagine not being able to remember what attack it was

2019-08-08 23:48:13 UTC

>Imagine having multiple attacks

2019-08-08 23:48:22 UTC

@whiic nope, unsurprisingly

2019-08-08 23:48:31 UTC

people never do anything wrong

2019-08-08 23:48:32 UTC

This is how far left violence is ignored.

2019-08-08 23:48:40 UTC

Overshadowed

2019-08-08 23:48:43 UTC

Is the word you're looking for

2019-08-08 23:48:51 UTC

It just doesn't get recognized as either from the left, or qualified as terrorism.

2019-08-08 23:48:58 UTC

@Weez In terms of mass-shootings, El Paso's not even that deadly. It's rather middle of the road in terms of mass shootings.

2019-08-08 23:49:07 UTC

ICE firebombing is not counted in that list because that list is mass shootings

2019-08-08 23:49:12 UTC

It was the deadliest *this year*

2019-08-08 23:49:19 UTC

in that situation only the perpetrator was killed

2019-08-08 23:49:28 UTC

**Only** 22 people died

2019-08-08 23:49:31 UTC

I mean you have the Dayton shooter

2019-08-08 23:49:50 UTC

@PooDiePie How is Terrorism_in_the_United_States limited to mass shootings?

2019-08-08 23:49:56 UTC

@Weez https://www.abc15.com/news/data/mass-shootings-in-the-u-s-over-270-mass-shootings-have-occurred-in-2017
Wrong. In terms of mass-shootings per month, 2016's been the worst thus far (40.25/month, as opposed to 2019's, which was 31/month)
