Not quite. The problem isn't inaccuracy as such. I mean it is, but that is a minor problem because that might as well be caused by a glitch in the system that allowed through someone who was wrong to spread their honest mistake. Steven Moffat the tv producer succinctly summarized the agenda talking about black washing on doctor who

The problem with Woke Moffat was that he put the settings for his characters in like 1814, and made a huge deal about "slavery still being a thing"
