Says the 6-7 figure salary recipient sitting on his ass in a climate controlled studio
Who? The Fox guy or secular talk?
I agree actually, it's a good thing that you can work many jobs
Think of the alternative, you categorically cannot work many jobs
Sounds better? For what reason?
I really don't have any idea on this one, the only American i know of that works two jobs was doing it for extra money.
He had a 25$/h job and worked a second job for extra money.
Terrible, how can we allow that, people working more for extra money
Must be capitalists who want that. Always exploiting people by giving them opportunities to make more money.
I don't know of any American over the age of like 25 that works 2 jobs
And this video offers no data, I hate videos that offer no datas.
That goes for Sargon's too.
Data is good
I do know of a dude that works as a technician and drived Uber for a time, for extra cash too.
That's the second, and that's all.
My dad had three, sometimes four jobs
Granted, he could've made millions doing just one job, but he chose that for himself
The only people I know who do it are people who are college age.
My mom had two jobs while my dad had three or four
I don't know who these people are blaming
Most people don't have a growth mindset
Ok, I found some number.
8% of the workers to multiple jobs.
8.8% for women, apparently they have better management of time.
That's really not bad
A lot of those people are entrepreneurs I bet
Half of the that 8% has a full time job. And another half has two part time jobs.
Women hold more jobs because they don't work full time
women are more likely to have multiple part-time jobs
Sometimes students have multiple jobs to especially during the summer
Some of these guys even have 5 jobs.
Holy shit
That's just insane
I had 3 jobs one summer, but two of them only took up 5 hours a week.
There is such a thing as burn-out and there is such a thing as jobs just not paying properly.
Question is, are people working that much extra because they have to or because they want to?
This is from the bureau of labour statistics. Pre 2008 crisis to 2010, that's the most recent data they offer. According to 2004 survey 25% were there to meet expenses or pay debts.
The rest had other reasons.
This is a 15 years ago survey, so it could be different now.
