and what exactly is union household supposed to mean?

2019-07-19 16:29:04 UTC

That’s a separate statistic

2019-07-19 16:29:12 UTC

then why is it underlined?

2019-07-19 16:29:29 UTC

....that’s the iPhoneXR home slider.....

2019-07-19 16:29:57 UTC

oh, phone, fair enough

2019-07-19 16:30:36 UTC

2020 is gonna be a landslide primarily because of polarization like what Trump is taking advantage of

2019-07-19 16:30:59 UTC

Moderate liberals are far more likely to vote Trump than a socialist radical, and for good reason

2019-07-19 16:33:01 UTC

So you and @Coolitic can cry racial insensitivity and why socialism should be accepted as a valid ideology as much as you want, but Trump is smart for making that divide more pronounced

2019-07-19 16:38:12 UTC

@VVacle Trump made a bad move emphasising the divide, because the Socialists are talking about issues which Trump is not.

2019-07-19 16:38:58 UTC

The top issues that Americans are concerned about are 1. Poor leadership and government. 2. Healthcare. 3. Racism

2019-07-19 16:39:15 UTC

These are all things that they're talking about while in reality Trump isn't doing too much about.

2019-07-19 16:39:38 UTC

The 'socialists' are offering Healthcare for all, which the majority of Americans support.

2019-07-19 16:40:10 UTC

They're an alternative to a 'poor government / leaders', which currently Trump is

2019-07-19 16:40:22 UTC

Trump is distancing himself from the very issues Americans are concerned about.

2019-07-19 16:40:25 UTC

What are those that he is not addressing, and how is creating even more divide in the Democratic party not a smart move on his part. The people that are worried about those issues (majority of the country, poll was more than likely taken in urbanized areas) will vote Democrat regardless. Statistics do not back up “majority of Americans want universal healthcare”.

2019-07-19 16:41:10 UTC

???

2019-07-19 16:41:19 UTC

Though this is from 2016

2019-07-19 16:42:22 UTC

That’s for Medicare expandions. Not all-around universal healthcare. Only 1 in 10 Americans support UH if it gets rid of private insurance plans.

2019-07-19 16:54:23 UTC

also Weez that split on the dem vs republican is pretty hard core

2019-07-19 17:05:43 UTC

Sorry about that, I'm back

2019-07-19 17:06:16 UTC

Do you have a link to that survey?

2019-07-19 17:07:27 UTC

1 in 10 can be 97% if you ignore enough people.

2019-07-19 17:10:58 UTC

Christ, this website is terrible

2019-07-19 17:11:23 UTC

No dates of publication or editing..

2019-07-19 17:11:50 UTC

the poll is at the bottom though

2019-07-19 17:13:24 UTC

"This survey was conducted online within the United states from February 1-2 2019 among 1,001 registered voters by HarrisX

2019-07-19 17:13:28 UTC

First issue there.

2019-07-19 17:17:16 UTC

it's not great but indicative. Also, the poll is racist, they had 5 times as many whites as any other race!!! kek

2019-07-19 17:18:14 UTC

It doesn't really explain its methodology either.

2019-07-19 17:22:40 UTC

Because random polls should be ignored. Which is why the census is still important as it can give real information.

2019-07-19 17:32:04 UTC

Does this server have issue with PewResearch? They're usually excellent.

2019-07-19 17:32:17 UTC

They have a lot of issues with organisations that don't agree with them?

2019-07-19 17:39:23 UTC

When the largest employer is the government I can understand why people think that.

2019-07-19 17:40:27 UTC

Pew is pretty much the gold standard.
