Not necessarily
Humans have this amazing ability to learn by example without experiencing
Okay
Since you wanna be this way about it
Top definition
I want to be precise in my definitions
erudite =/= smart
Experience
Right there
In the dictionary
@Uksio you need to experience violence or else you'll never get a grasp of it
oversharing =/= honest
Experianced =/= wise
Some concepts are really close, yet still not the same to be synonymous
yes
I agree with this
but
You need to experience things
Here comes the butt
it's a seperate point
Intelligence is not actually specifically defined in psychology, so yes, technically erudite does not mean smart, but arguing that way is really just being overly specific about which aspect of the general definition you want to take
You’re arguing extreme technicalities for the most part here
"all those whippersnappers with their smartphones they don't care for my wisdom! Now how do I go on the internet again"
So wise
that's because they lack experience
senile fucking wisdom
And yet, when actual social situations arise, who’s more likely to know what to do
experience=/= wisedom
You’re being overly salty
It’s presenting a bias
but experience is a prerequisite for wisedom
You said yourself experience isn’t wisdom
But right there you said it is
With that example
An overly cliche example at that
@Sir Platypus some people
Anecdote a statistic does not make
Then why argue some people at all
If they aren’t entirely relevant
The majority is what matters here
